The objective of our sub-theme is to contribute to the understanding of the mechanisms that inhibit regeneration in adult mammals.
Scientific Objectives :
The objective is to identify, using adipose tissue as a model, the signals from the stroma and in particular from mesenchymal stromal cells (ASC), which may induce regeneration of tissues and/or organs and to determine how these cells could participate in regeneration. Particular attention is paid to the study of the cellular dynamics of adipose tissue and the involvement of metabolism in these processes.
